This department was established with a view to enhance the basics of sciences and English language. The courses have been designed to strengthen the fundamental principles to enable the students comprehend the core engineering subjects. The conceptual learning in these subjects is enhanced through practical lab sessions. The department is totally dedicated to bringing out the latent talents including the soft skills like presentation skills, communication skills etc. to enhance their levels of employability and marketability and their overall development. Academically speaking, the department is rich in its intellectual quotient and some members of the faculty have been laudable book authors. All the members of the faculty have a minimum 10 years of teaching experience and some have even four decades of teaching and administrative experience in India and abroad. The department is consistently dynamic in research activities like paper publications, book and chapter publications.

ii. AECS lab,
iii. Engineering Physics,
iv. Engineering Chemistry.
The Department of Humanities & Sciences consists of nearly 40 faculty members, including 3 Doctorates, senior retired professors from JNTUH with international experience. The department strains its nerves in taking extra interest not only in the academic pursuits of all the students in general, but also B.Tech students in particular and thereby pave the path for the holistic growth of them. Faculty conduct counseling sessions every week and they play the role of mentors to the students. Faculty focus on disciplinary activities much to make the students self restraint.
