Feedback on Curriculum

The institution collects the feedback for all programmes and courses from various stakeholders such as the students, alumni, faculty and employers.

Consolidated feedback received from different stake holders’ emphasis on

  • Syllabus with more hands-on and practical work may be requested to JNTUH
  • Project based learning may be introduced
  • Syllabus with latest technologies that bridge the gap between industry and academic institution may be recommended to JNTUH.
  • Communication and life skills related courses will be handled more effectively.
  • Special topics recommended from industry may be conducted
  • Internship provision may be given to students.

Action taken on feedback from students, faculty, employers and alumni

Being an affiliated college of JNTUH, university curriculum and syllabi is being followed.The college is following the below mentioned actions to bridge the curriculum gap.

The college follows a continuous review system for the curriculum. The Institution would like to include the following aspects which will enrich the curriculum

  • Introduction of value added courses
  • Conducting courses on communication skills / Professional ethics / Environmental Engineering and Employability Skills
  • Tutorials for analytical subjects
  • Introducing library hour in the time table
  • Organizing technical seminar
  • Encouraging Mini projects
  • Additional design experiments in laboratory courses for stimulating creativity and innovation in students
  • Internship provision to students

The College established an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) as a Quality sustenance and Quality enhancement measure. The academic audit committee ensure quality enhancement. IQAC has been organizing faculty development programme every year to enhance the professional competency and teaching pedagogy of the faculty. It also insist the faculty member to improvetheir educational qualifications, submission / publication of papers / articles by faculty. Conduct of Seminars/ Symposia and workshops are scheduled in the academic plan. Students are encouraged to participate in Curricular, Extra-Curricular and Co-Curricular Activities.
