The Finance Committee is a Statutory Body of the Institution. It considers the budget and expenditure proposal, all proposals for new additional posts, accounts of the institution, the Audit Report and other Financial and Accounting matters. Its recommendations submitted for approval to the Governing Council.

1. To consider the annual accounts and financial estimates of the institution and submit them to the Governing Council for approval.
2. To consider and recommend the annual budget and revised estimates to the Governing Council.
3. To fix limits of the total recurring expenditure and the total nonrecurring expenditure of the year based on the income and resources of the institution.
4. To submit the report on the transactions made semester wise to the Governing Council.
