The college central library has the best library facilities with largest collection of books, reference manuals, and hand books along with national and international journals covering various advanced disciplines pertaining to the subjects offered by the college. The library supports the teaching programs of the college and provides facilities for general reading and disseminates information according to the requirement of the users. It is housed with a plinth area of 1400 Sq. Mtrs. with various sections like Circulation, Periodical, Digital Library, Stack Area, Multimedia, News Paper etc.
The Library uses NEWGENLIB software package which is an integrated multi user library management system that supports all in-house operations of the library. The NEWGENLIB consists of modules on acquisition, cataloguing, circulation, serials, article indexing and OPAC.
It caters to the needs of the existing courses. Library has 6,424 titles and 44935 volumes evenly distributed on all the disciplines. The library has facilities for accommodating 500 students at a time. The library is also equipped with an E-Library with 102 Periodicals. More books/ journals / standards etc. will be introduced in the library in accordance with the expansion requirements.
The institute library has Internet facility with 20 systems, put on the internet and is also a member of the DELNET, to help those engaged in research and development activities.
