ASTRA Library has a list of rules and it is being followed by the users
1. Silence shall be strictly observed inside the library.
2. Members/ users have to produce their identity card at the entrance and sign the register at the entrance before entering the library.
3. Students are supposed to enter the library with clean dress code and College ID Card.
4. Keep all the belongings in the property counter at the entrance and take only one notebook of loose sheets.
5. Files, bags, personal textbooks are not allowed inside the library.
6. The borrower shall be responsible for any damage or any loss done to the library documents borrowed by them and shall be required to replace such material or to pay the double cost thereof.
7. Members can suggest publication for consideration for inclusion in the library. For details requisition form please ask library staff or downloads.
8. Library provides open access facility. Users are advised not to replace the books on shelves. They may leave the books on circulation counter after the use. The book misplaced is a lost book.
9. Marking, underlining, writing or defacing the books in library in any form, if detected will lead to fine and other punishments.
10. Overdue charges of Rs.1/- per day per a book will be levied from the borrowers after the due date.
